Alfa, the global provider of software and services to the automotive and equipment finance industries, has announced a partnership with Stonewall, Europe’s largest LGBT rights organisation.
Alfa has joined the Stonewall Diversity Champions Programme, the UK’s largest community of professionals dedicated to equality, diversity and inclusion, and the leading employers' programme for ensuring all LGBT staff are accepted without exception in the workplace.
Stonewall works with more than 700 organisations, all of whom share a core belief in the power of a truly equal workplace.
Alfa has also formalised the position of CSR manager, which will be taken by Grahame Williams, a senior manager with the business.
Andrew Denton, Alfa’s CEO, said: “With inclusion and LGBT communities well established at Alfa, we’re committed to enabling these staff to reach their full potential.
"Joining the Diversity Champions programme means not only that we can draw on Stonewall’s best practice and initiatives, but also that everyone knows we’re serious about recruiting and retaining diverse talent.”
Stonewall was founded in 1989 and has put the case for equality on the mainstream political agenda by winning support within all the main political parties in the UK.
