Our client is a fast-expanding, substantially backed  asset finance business specialising in the provision of a range of funding options into the UK SME and mid-corporate sectors.

As they continue to execute their plan for ambitious growth they are keen to appoint a Project Support Officer. Your key purpose will be to enable the smooth running of our platform selection and implementation project by supporting the project team through the operation of project management processes, and the co-ordination of business management actions and activities on their behalf. This role will give you a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain appropriate systems to enable effective planning and scheduling of project activities.
  • Establish and maintain project controls, keeping the project manager aware of the project status.
  • Ensure organisational tasks are conducted efficiently i.e., ensuring project records are up to date.
  • Manage professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and function as lead point of contact for external parties.
  • Provide daily administrative management of the project, including drafting notes, minutes, correspondence, and necessary follow-ups.
  • Support the project monitoring and tracking of activities including compiling and reviewing project metrics.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of project costs and report against budget.
  • Work closely with the project manager/members to identify and resolve issues related to the project.
  • Contribute to the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of project communication and visibility activities.
  • Support the organisation of physical, virtual and hybrid meetings, workshops, and events, including planning, preparation, organisation, and follow-up.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider project team, including contract management.
