Our client is the UK arm of a leading European financial services institution who are looking for someone to join the team to manage and develop partner relationships across the construction, transport and industrial asset finance markets.

The Role

The purpose of the Relationship Manager role is to build and maintain excellent relationships with their client’s key vendor partners to deliver best in class service whilst maximising volumes and profitability.

The successful candidate should have had a minimum of 5 years previous experience in a sales and account management gained within the leasing / asset finance industry. Knowledge and experience in hard asset vendor programmes would be preferable together with a good understanding of the financial service requirements to support dealer \ distributor customers.

This field-based role will have contact with both internal and external customers, therefore the ability to present, negotiate and build relationships and to be able to prioritise work will be key to success, as will the ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding whilst maintaining a clear focus on the objective.

The role requires a significant degree of self-motivation and tenacity to achieve target objectives to expand and grow the vendor business.
