​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​J2957 - Our client is seeking a European Channel Finance Executive to develop an in-depth understanding of channel finance products and structured finance solutions in order to help manage and grow the finance offering. You will develop working knowledge of all relevant areas of the channel finance operation including business development, pricing, documentation, product structure, risk aspects, etc. Ideally, you will have French, German or Italian language skills.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK, Gtr London / Surrey (Hybrid).

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take individual responsibility for the UK and ROI Extended Terms Finance Programme and depending on language capabilities become the first point of contact in other European countries.

• Manage financing programmes and transaction documentation both externally with vendors and dealers and internally with Operations Team.

• Deal with Credit Team on credit limits and other risk-related aspects of the products.

• Support the Business Development and Sales Teams by preparing materials and attending meetings with vendors and dealers and presenting channel finance products when required.

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and dealers.

• Seek to improve process and procedures and reporting as the portfolio grows.

• Retain existing customers and develop new customers whilst maintaining business portfolio quality.

• Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of existing programmes and contribute to the successful implementation of new programmes.

• Work together with the Product Manager and Head of Structured Finance to increase volumes of business and penetration into the distribution networks of existing vendor groups.

• Ensure processes and controls are followed to enable KPI’s to be met. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Educated to degree level preferably in Business Studies, Economics or Finance.

• Experience of working in a corporate sales /customer-facing environment within the leasing industry in roles that cover working with customers or distribution networks of varying nationalities.

• Additional European language is essential for this role e.g. French, German, Italian.

• Ability to present financial solutions to customers/ distribution channel in person, by email and by telephone.

• Ability to price transactions and review credit including information and identify key focus areas.

• Excellent written and verbal skills, this is essential when communicating to customers and when writing proposals and presentations.

• Knowledge and understanding of the financial services environment; understanding of vendor finance programs.

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
