The Leasing Foundation has chosen youth mental health charity, Beyond, as its charity partner for 2024.

Beyond is tackling the growing mental health crisis affecting young people in the UK. Roughly one in five young people suffers from a mental disorder. The organisation uses it expertise and resources to help those working with young people access the right mental health support for those in their care.

To date, Beyond has enabled access to critical mental health interventions in over 56 educational settings and provided free mental health resources to over one million young people.All on a very limited budget.

Louisa Rose, CEO, Beyond, said: “We are delighted that Beyond has been chosen as The Leasing Foundation’s charity of the year – its fundraising and support will make a huge difference to us and the individuals that we support and will enable us to be there for young people and their families at their time of greatest need.

"Every young person has the right to receive the most effective mental health support at the right moment. We are working hard to make this a reality and are addressing the lack of access to support and create opportunities for early and personalised interventions.”

The first official fundraising event will be a drinks reception in Spring 2023, with details to be announced shortly.
