US-based asset and equipment finance software International Decision Systems (IDS) has appointed Alison Posney as managing director for the APAC region as the company continues to expand internationally.

Posney has a background in the financial services industry, most notably with Misys and Thomson Reuters, and has in-depth knowledge of professional services, strategy building, and leadership of sales and presales teams. Having lived in Singapore for the past ten years after beginning her career in Australia, she also has extensive experience across many APAC countries.

IDS said Posney’s appointment was part of initatives to strengthen its regional management teams ahead of planned expansion to meet increasing global demand for its end-to-end asset management solutions, Rapport and InfoLease10.
